  • Eastern equine encephalitis
  • Saint Louis encephalitis
  • Zika

The most recent arrival is the Zika virus. At the beginning of August 2016, 14 people in Florida had been infected with Zika. Florida is not expected to see a major outbreak of the virus, but people should take measures to repel mosquitoes and keep themselves safe.
